Investigations 101:
Intensive Training Seminar

Problem Solving Training for Police Promotional Candidates

Why Investigations 101?

Most police departments across the country do an extensive job preparing officers for patrol; however, they tend to place new detectives in their new assignments with very little preparation. Departments typically depend on “on-the-job” training for the new detective, which unfortunately takes too long to achieve comfort in handling a criminal investigation.

Investigations101 fills that gap by allowing the new investigators to grasp their new role with greater speed and accuracy. Specifically designed for new or recently assigned investigators, this course provides a detailed exposure to the role of a criminal detective and teaches all the basic aspects and procedures of conducting proper investigations, searches, and seizures.

Who Should Attend?

Enrollment in Investigations101 is limited to law enforcement officers (uniform or detective), investigators, supervisors, and other authorized officials who are responsible for investigating crimes. In addition, individuals from the following professions should attend: crime scene technicians, medical examiners/coroner investigators, military investigators, criminal analysts, and prosecutors.

Host a Seminar

Investigations101 aims to make it easy and painless to work with us and to ensure your event is a home run. As an added bonus, sponsoring police agencies receive 3 free seminar seats.
